My end the summer aim!

Hello all! (and hello to the two new readers!)

Holidays (yey!) mean more posts although i have been caught up in some family drama and my laptop died (booo!) but its all fixed now so its all good :) 

This is a post on what blogs i would like to write by the end of the summer, if you like the look of them stick around, they are a rough guideline and i may veer of a bit from time to time but oh well (thats why i am only posting a few so i can chip and chop) So here is the list NOT in oder hehe:

And then sadly by the time they are all written i may be on holiday, so i may not get them all written but it is an aim i am willing to have a go at, a little test to see if i pass (an olympic type test ;) ) However after the holidays i will update you, with what i did pictures and what i brought so when i get back there will be more blogs

'7 things for 7 days'

Hello everyone! 

So I have seen this post written by Sprinkle of glitter and thought that it was a really good idea, I find it hard to try and keep up goals, but that may be because i always set them either too broad or for a too large amount if time. One goal a day however does seem manageable, and i can juggle around what goal i choose per day. There is a link to the wonderful Louise (sprinkle of glitters)  Here

Anyway enough of the chit-chat and onto the goals 

1) watch what I eat - Some who know me may think that i am thin, and i am not going to lie i'm not fat, and if anything underweight, however i seem to use this as an excuse for eating really unhealthy food. I hope that i will minimize how much sugar and fat i eat and perhaps eat more that will add to my weight in healthier way.

2) confidence & join in  - this is obviously a long term one, i am quite outgoing with close friends, but i would really like to gain more confidence in class and drama. I would also love to get involved in more things at school, that i normally push away because i get scared of what some people may think of me. 

3) Sleep - I have been going to bed quite late recently, for some it may seem early, but since i am at school and working and i have to get up at 6:30 going to bed at 11:00/11:30 doecsn't seem to be going very well ( especially because i am small and want to grow) 

4) Control my mood - Somedays ( on a bad day ) i can get very edgy and may lash out or get very annoyed with people easily, i am going to try and calm down and think before i act. 

5) Read - I have been reading less recently, i love reading, but have not had the time, and i wish i could as i love to get stuck into a book. 

6) Family - Since that my brother and sister are now older, my sister in uni, and my brother working and living in london, its just me left in the house with my parents :'( So on the weekends i would like to have more time with them, as they must be feeling al little lonely and its nice sometimes to get out!

7) cook - Cooking is my passion, a rather secret one to some because i don't have the time, i do study cooking at school but at home there is more time and more freedom

So there we have it, on some of them i may be seen as a little moody and lazy, hopefully people don't think i am, i was setting goals that i felt can be my weak spot and digging deep to bring them out. Hopefully i will stick to this, its such a good idea and hopefully there will be one every week or so.

Collection 2000 Glam Crystals dazzling gel liner review

Hello everyone!


Its been a long time since i have blogged i knoow (stupid annoying exams) but its time to celebrate i finished my last one today !! YEY :) so that means more blogs!


Todays one is on the collection 2000 glam crystal gel eye liner, i have been wanting to review it for a while but have never quite found the time - so here we go.... I love the color of mine, its a light blue/turquoise/green with glitter!! I don't wear it for school (you can guess why) but i do wear it on the weekend to brighten things up. The color in the bottle is very close to what it looks like on the eye :) 


So on the bottle it quotes 'easy to apply, precision liner, fast dry & long lasting' The eye liner does not smudge once dry at all and lasts me most of the day, it does not flake off, the only fault would be that the glitter is removed easily removed from a lick and rub of your finger, so not a product to wear i the pooring rain! HOWEVER it does last and can be worn in drizzle, it is easy to apply and quite fast drying. 

The nail polish is Milan by no7

This product is perfect for a girly night out or just to add color and glitter to your day (as we all do love to add sometimes) it does brighten up your look. The best thing about the product is the pice, coming in at an amazing.....£2.99 in superdrug - thats an amazing price for what you get :) i love this eyeliner and would say that if you were looking for some sparkle try one of these, they do other colors too!

Revision and a Review

 Hi everyone,

So i am revising as you can probably guess by me not putting up any posts - spending hours per day :(

But i do have a review up my sleeve a film review, the film is called Chronicle. The synopsis is that a group of high school/collage students get superpowers, at first it sounded like a really good film, an action packed one. 

However my thought of the film was very wrong to the actual film. It started with this boy filming in his room and a dad banning on his bedroom door, The boy kept mentioning how his farther was drunk when he was filming, So the boy is filming through the film and the film is set as if your watching it through the camera most of the time. This originally seemed good but after a while got annoying. 

I was waiting of the powers but all that happened was the boy got beaten up, once at school, on the streets by his house, and at home by his dad. I later discovered that this was because his mum was in hospital and I'm guessing the dad was sad about it and turned into an alcoholic, 

So when he eventually got his power (along with his cousin and friend) it took ages for him to get used it, he just started to pick up stone and balls with it and it was boring, about 45-50 minutes in nothing had happened it was a very boring film and i had to turn it off. Now i don't know if the film may have picked up later on in not sure but up to that point it was so boring.

so what did you all think if you watched it? does the film pick up?

Just a lil note to say...

Hiya all 

just to let you know that i have been very busy and im sorry for not posting - also I am very annoyed as i just wrote up two more whole paragraphs for my next blog that is currently in progress and while i was on the photo option clicked the back button. BIG MISTAKE it deleted all that i have done today an hours worth of typing :( so sorry no new blog tonight as i am very annoyed about my last paragraphs and am in a bit of a huff ;) i may be-able to blog again however on a different topic tonight and hold that topic for a while. Sorry if you read this and found it pointless just thought I should update you all!

To not make this such a waste of your time i should add that it was my dads birthday today and i had dinner at an amazing pub in Petworth which was delish and took my dogs too for a lil walk before the pub!

Lush Catastophie Cosmetic Face Mask

Hello everyone

Lush offer a variety of face-masks from garlic to chocolate scent all for different skin types. I got my face mask when i managed to pick up on of the lush tags on the clipper teas. If I purchased the tea i would get a free face mask treatment which included making the mask, i then also managed to get a pot worth £10. Even though i was delighted i then realized that I would have to use the mask within two months or so.

Some of you may be thinking that is it totally the wrong color, but thats because it is because it was hand made by us and we didnt squish the blueberrys well enough. I also have to say that the scent of mine is very overpower, although normally it is less strong. The texture is also harder than others.

I look awful but hey ho !

So i left the mask on for roughly just under 10 minutes as usual until it crumbled and i felt like an old lady. When i washed off the face mask my skin felt sooo soft and smooth so it was definitely worth it. The usual price of the face mask are £5.75 for 75g Find a link here   I find it quite expensive for the mask its self and the shelf life although they are really nice and they do help my skin! so if you would use it often then I would saw get it although make sure you don't use it to many times a week else it can dry out your skin

STEAMCREAM

Hello everyone,

Today's post is on Steam Cream. Some of you may have heard of the company already Via lush, or some maybe not. I heard of the company Via the lush forum party, one year they were selling dented pots for £5. Even though i didn't get mine via lush i did call but they had run out :( I got my first pot at Christmas and since then i have have collected a few. 

I recieved this one on Valentines

This is my favorite

 The heart one is called 'con amore' the peacock is called 'Gaudy' and my flag called 'Freedom and discipline'. They current retail and £12.50 which has gone up from £10 when i used to buy them. The tins are re-usable for example the freedom and discipline one currently hold my earrings.

 

 

 

My first one!

I find that the product works well as a moisturizer (it was the winner of the beauty insiders choice 2010)  and its not only for your face you can also use it on your hands and your body. I find it sinks in and its not too oily, although it is rather pricey and i would probably only collect them as present.The scent is quite neutral similar to dream time in lush but a lot softer, its has lavender notes in it.

Some of you may be wondering why it is called Steam Cream - the reason is because the cream is steam infused and so not added parabens. Because its is so fresh the self life is quite short around 6 months! You should definitely check out there site because each tin is LE and the design is only around for 6 months!
